bentlity(July 21 - 4:47 p.m.) Apparently Clear Channel didn't have to look too far to fill in afternoon drive at MY/fm. The exhaustive search seems to have resulted in the transfer of Clear Channel's Ty Bentli, from afternoon drive at the KIIS-type Chicago's WKSC, according to sources.

Bentli has been at the high-powered Top 40 Chicago KISS/fm since October 2006. He will leave for MY/fm as soon as his replacement is announced. Bentli was the No. 1-rated afternoon drive anchor in the 18- to 34-year-old demo in the just-released June Arbitron ratings book, according to published results.

Glad to see MY FM getting Bentli! 97.1 AMP beating MYFM is an embarrassment to LA since that shows people prefer listening to the same song every two hours than actually variety of music like MYFM! Also, AMP claims they are a CHR 40 station but their playlist shows they are no different than combining KPWR, a rhythmic top 40 station and KIIS, another rhythmic leaning top 40 station.

Clear Channel's MYfm is still lying about commercial-free music! Do they think they can brainwash the listeners into thinking they are playing 60, 45 or 30 minutes of commercial-free music when they are playing LESS?!

We're watching the clock!
